Illinois
CEC was founded in Illinois and has deep relationships with schools, districts, and the state agency. Currently, CEC is an approved learning partner through the Illinois State Board of Education’s (ISBE) support and accountability for developing effective continuous improvement practices.
SCHOOL AND DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT (formerly IL-EMPOWER) (Title 1, 1003)
CEC has considerable experience and success working with schools identified as low performing or struggling. CEC has served as an improved lead partner as part of School Improvement Grant (SIG) transformation interventions in nine schools across six Illinois school districts. The final Illinois SIG competition (Cohort 6), CEC was chosen as lead partner in three of the five awards.
As a secondary learning partner, we have programs to support both targeted and comprehensive schools with their school improvement allocations. See our testimonials page for the impact our work has made.
